A new digital home for Partners in Literacy Haiti

PILH relaunches haiti-literacy.org as a quadrilingual platform, welcomes new board leadership, and renews its mission for the next chapter of children's literacy in rural Haiti.

Partners in Literacy Haiti has relaunched its website as a modern, quadrilingual platform serving readers in English, Haitian Kreyòl, French and Spanish. Visitors connecting from Haiti are welcomed in Kreyòl and pointed to community services, while supporters around the world see exactly what their gifts build.

The relaunch accompanies a season of renewal for the organization. Under the leadership of Executive Director Fatima-Iram Din and a refreshed board of directors, PILH reaffirms the vision that has guided it since 2011: reading proficiency and learning success rising together with the Haitian people, their libraries and their schools.

The mission remains focused and unchanged at its heart. PILH enhances reading through Kreyòl books, technology and training for children from birth to eight years old, their families and their teachers, in community libraries, schools and centers.

The new site puts transparency first, with every annual report, the Candid Platinum Transparency Seal and the organization's IRS record one click away. It also gives donors tangible choices: fifteen dollars a month funds ten Kreyòl children's books, every month.

More than 3,000 PILH Kreyòl books are now in children's hands across rural Haiti. The next chapter is being written now, at the Duplan Children's Library and beyond, and every reader of this page is invited to help write it.

Every Haitian child deserves books in their own language.
