PILH is an all volunteer organization with roots in Haiti and hands around the world. Wherever you live, there is a seat for you.
For the Haitian diaspora
You left, but Haiti never left you. From Miami, Brooklyn, Montreal, Boston, Paris or Santiago, you can put Kreyòl books into the hands of children in the village your family calls home. Sponsor a library, fund a monthly book shipment, translate a story, or lend your professional skills for a few hours a month. Every committee meets on Zoom, in the language you prefer.

Turn an empty room in a rural school into a working children's library. Shelving, a starter collection of Kreyòl and French books, charts and a trained library worker to run it.
